HTC Sensation hands-on with Photos and Video

HTC today announced their new flagship Android smartphone, the HTC Sensation aka HTC Pyramid. I was there for the press conference and had my first hands-on with the device. The HTC Sensation is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread 'superphone' running on a dual core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM 8260 processor with 1GB user accessible ROM and 768MB RAM. It has a 4.3" Super LCD capacitive touchscreen with qHD 540 x 960 resolution with Gorilla Glass protection. Imaging wise, the Sensation has a 8MP camera with dual LED flash capable of 1080p video recording and VGA front camera. Connectivity wise, the phone includes HSDPA, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB port with MHL support for HDMI out and DLNA. Other features includes the GPS receiver, accelerometer, digital compass, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. A 1520 mAh battery powers the device. All of these are packed inside an aluminium unibody shell that weighs 148g and measures 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm. Airtel has launched its 3G services in Durgapur - West Bengal. Recently they have launched their 3G services in Hyderabad and also announced Mobile TV and HD Gaming. They have also launched new services on 3G like Mobile Comics, Video Talkies and IPL on Mobile TV. To read comics customers need to send ' 3G' to get the WAP link for 3G Zone and can subscribe to read wide range of comics. T-Mobile recently announced the new HTC Sensation 4G. This handset runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System and it comes with a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4G connectivity, 8 megapixel camera with full HD (1080p) video recording and more. This handset will be exclusively available on the airwaves of T-Mobile in the US. HTC Sensation with 1.2 GHz Dual Core CPU , 4.3 inch Display is Official

HTC Sensation was just officially launched by the Taiwanese handset maker in an event in London city.The handset was prematurely outed by Vodafone earlier today. The handset packs a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU and a 8 Megapixel camera and a 4.3 inch display . FoneArena's Jon Choo is at the event and he found the phone to be really fast. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Pricing is not yet known but it will be a Vodafone exclusive in Europe for sometime and will available in Europe first. It will hit Asia later in Q2 this year. Nokia X7 Price and Availability

Nokia announed the X7-00 earlier today along with the E6-00 at a Symbian event in London. It is a full touchscreen entertainment device. It will be one of the first phones to feature Symbian Anna / PR 2.0 OS along with the E6. The X7 packs a 4" capacitive Gorilla Glass touchscreen with 640x360 pixels resolution and capable of displaying upto 16 million colours. It also has an 8 Megapixel EDOF Camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording. Nokia X7-00 Price and Availability Nokia has revealed the price of the phone to be 380 euros which is around 548 USD or Rs.25000 approx before taxes and subsidies. The phone will be available globally in Q2 2011.

Nokia Symbian Anna aka PR 2.0 Announced

Nokia has announced the much awaited update to the Symbian OS. It is called Anna and was previously known as PR 2.0. Symbian Anna will be made available for the Nokia N8, C7, C6-01 and E7 over the coming months.However no specific dates have been announced. One of the first changes that you notice are the new icons. The text input has been improved and the much awaited portrait QWERTY keyboard  along with split screen entry is now available. The new browser offers faster performance and is easier to use. The photo gallery has also received a few updates. Nokia E6 Price and Availability

Nokia announced the E6 earlier today and it is a successor to the popular E72 handset.You must have seen the photos. The E6 packs a display with a 640x480 pixel resolution in such a small form-factor. It's still powered by a not so fast  680MHz processor which makes it possible for this handset to quote a 14.8 hour talk time on GSM and 7.5 hours on 3G with almost 30 days of stand by time. The handset also ships with the Symbian Anna update which brings a new UI and other features. Nokia E6-00 Price and Availability Nokia has revealed the price of the phone to be 340 euros which is around 490 USD or Rs.21000 approx before taxes. The E6-00 will be available globally in Q2 , 2011 except in Canada, USA, Korea and Japan. So this handset will be coming to India eventually. There will be a separate version of the E6 for North America (NAM) and will be availble in Q3. Are you going to buy the E6-00 ?

HTC Sensation aka Pyramid Leaked

The HTC Sensation would be the official name of the rumored HTC Pyramid which is expected to be announced by HTC later today. The Sensation has specs which include a 4.3 inch display , 1.2 GHz CPU, 8 Megapixel Camera , 1.2 Megapixel front facing camera , 4 GB internal memory, 8GB memory card and runs Android We are not sure of the Android version at the moment and it seems like Android 2.2 from the picture.
