Would LG E700 be the first Windows Phone with preinstalled Mango?

Posted: 18 Apr 2011 05:30 AM PDT

MS Windows Phone OS called 'Mango' is set for an upgrade in the coming few months. Two features among numerous ones make this model an ideal buy for mobile users. Its internet web browser is as powerful as Internet Explorer 9. Its multi-tasking capability is another distinctive feature.

It is inevitable that Windows Phones would have Mango updates in the same manner as Apple iPhones get latest iOS versions. Under such circumstances, it is a matter of wonder as to what category of devices would have latest MS operating system pre-installed. As per a leaked XML file, LG is developing a E700 device with integrated iE9 browser. From these findings it might be inferred that LG E700 would be the first Mango enabled Windows Phone. LG is among the initial handset manufacturers to introduce Windows Phone and are MS committed.

Many analysts have highly ambitious expectations about Windows Phone. There are analysts who believe that Mango would become the second most popular OS after Android.

Sprint CEO Hesse comments that AT & T, T-Mobile deal would ‘stifle’ wireless market in United States

Posted: 18 Apr 2011 05:27 AM PDT

Dan Hesse, Sprint CEO, was critical about the much talked about deal between AT & T and T-Mobile that could abruptly affect United States wireless market. In San Francisco ClimateOne conference spoke critically about the acquisition of Deutsche Telekom owned T-Mobile by AT & T. He anticipated this merger in this year's CTIA in Orlando.

Hesse purposely chose 15th April as the day for his comments, the day when FCC (Federal Communications Commission) published its review of AT & T and T-Mobile deal and announced Sprint's strong opposition to this buyout. According to Hesse this merger would make US mobile market a 'duopoly' with the two companies sharing 80% of the total industry. Innovation and competition would become 'stifled'.

United States currently has a buoyant wireless communication market with continuous innovation and all round healthy competition. When a market is competitive innovation and becomes constant and is visible in all segments of a society. The economic impact trickles down even to the lowest level.

Samsung plans to develop smartphones that boast a Ghz dual core processor reports Maeil Business Newspaper in Korea. Samsung Galaxy S2 which has Dual core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor showed impressive performance in the benchmarks in Russia. This is likely to be released by Exynos brand that was launched this February. Samsung has opted for dual core processor instead of single core processor with higher clock speed because it is suited best for smartphones and allows multitasking on its two cores. Other Smartphones with dual core processors include recently launched HTC Sensation that has 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, LG Optimus 2x and Motorola Atrix 4G that has Dual core 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor. Only the UK version of Galaxy S2 will get 1.2Ghz processor and others might get 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor. HTC WP7 phone leaked with 16MP camera, is it real?

Posted: 18 Apr 2011 07:30 AM PDT

At the MWC, HTC announced a number of new Android powered phones and all of them are quite interesting devices. And few days ago, HTC announced their first ever dual-core smartphone known as the HTC Sensation. It looks like HTC is now paying their attention towards WP7 because you people may have seen the first leaked shots of HTC Mazaa, and now another video is leaked on YouTube which is actually a HTC ad. What's interesting about this ad is that HTC is showing off a new un-announced WP7 phone which features a 16 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash, you can see the image of the phone above. The phone looks like a Desire S running on WP7. The ad seems legit to me and HTC is capable to launch a phone with a powerful camera. Megapixels are not everything; the phone should come with a great lens. Just like iPhone 4, it has only 5 Megapixel camera, but the lens and image processor inside it is amazing which is the reason that images taken by iPhone 4 are always amazing. If we talk about the smartphone with the best camera, then Nokia N8 is leading. It comes with 12 ...

Nokia Deep Dive: Nokia X7 hands on pictures!

Posted: 17 Apr 2011 10:30 PM PDT

I have been invited to a nice little event here from Nokia Austria, dubbed "Nokia Deep Dive". The whole event was made to show a handful of bloggers and developers here in Austria, the newly introduced Symbian Anna and the 2 new devices that will come with it out of the box, the Nokia E6 and X7. Announced as "extreme entertainment", the Nokia X7 shows once more, that the lines between Nokia's current naming are blurred. Of course, the X7 can entertain us all! It features the fancy music player we all love, or plays 720p mkv-files without conversion. But is there a real difference between this and, say a Nokia E7? Not much. Which, as i mentioned in my Nokia E7 hits and misses post, is not a bad thing at all! The real difference between the Nokia E7, is surely the design. The X-fighter (nice naming i read on Twitter) is shouty and very futuristic looking. It's dominated by a 4" AMOLED (not CBD) multitouchscreen, that comes in Nokia's good old (well, mostly old) 640 x 360 pixel resolution. It does NOT have 4 speakers as rumored earlier, but the 2 speakers inside are very good. The whole device ...
