Would LG E700 be the first Windows Phone with preinstalled Mango? Posted: 18 Apr 2011 05:30 AM PDT MS Windows Phone OS called 'Mango' is set for an upgrade in the coming few months. Two features among numerous ones make this model an ideal buy for mobile users. Its internet web browser is as powerful as Internet Explorer 9. Its multi-tasking capability is another distinctive feature. It is inevitable that Windows Phones would have Mango updates in the same manner as Apple iPhones get latest iOS versions. Under such circumstances, it is a matter of wonder as to what category of devices would have latest MS operating system pre-installed. As per a leaked XML file, LG is developing a E700 device with integrated iE9 browser. From these findings it might be inferred that LG E700 would be the first Mango enabled Windows Phone. LG is among the initial handset manufacturers to introduce Windows Phone and are MS committed. Many analysts have highly ambitious expectations about Windows Phone. There are analysts who believe that Mango would become the second most popular OS after Android. |
Sprint CEO Hesse comments that AT & T, T-Mobile deal would ‘stifle’ wireless market in United States Posted: 18 Apr 2011 05:27 AM PDT Dan Hesse, Sprint CEO, was critical about the much talked about deal between AT & T and T-Mobile that could abruptly affect United States wireless market. In San Francisco ClimateOne conference spoke critically about the acquisition of Deutsche Telekom owned T-Mobile by AT & T. He anticipated this merger in this year's CTIA in Orlando. Hesse purposely chose 15th April as the day for his comments, the day when FCC (Federal Communications Commission) published its review of AT & T and T-Mobile deal and announced Sprint's strong opposition to this buyout. According to Hesse this merger would make US mobile market a 'duopoly' with the two companies sharing 80% of the total industry. Innovation and competition would become 'stifled'. United States currently has a buoyant wireless communication market with continuous innovation and all round healthy competition. When a market is competitive innovation and becomes constant and is visible in all segments of a society. The economic impact trickles down even to the lowest level.
