T-Mobile G2X Price and Launch Date Revealed

T-Mobile USA has announced the price and launch date for the first Dual Core 4G phone on it's network the T-Mobile G2x which is a slightly modified LG Optimus 2X The main difference between G2x and Optimus 2X is that the G2x runs on a stock Android 2.2 and bears the T-Mobile branding. The G2X will be available online starting from  April 15, 2011 and in stores April 20, 2011 .  The price is $199.99 after $50 mail in rebate and with new 2 year contract. The price  of the handset without a contract is $499.99. [via T-Mobile]

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 Leaked Pics And Specs Emerge

The leaked pics and specs of the upcoming BlackBerry phone, the BlackBerry Bold Touch have been shared by our friends at BGR. BlackBerry Bold Touch comes with a small touchscreen display as well as the iconic QWERTY keyboard. This handset was first seen in the BlackBerry's 2011 CDMA device roadmap leak. The guys at BGR, recently played with this device and claims that, the touchscreen is "very responsive". This handset is rumored to come with a 2.8 inch touchscreen display, 1.2 GHz processor, BlackBerry OS 6.1, 5 megapixel camera and more. The device also comes with a new powerful battery. HTC’s Market Cap now at $33.8 billion, overtakes Nokia

Leading Android phone maker HTC has crossed the market cap of Nokia ($32.84 billion) and leads with $33.8 billion market share, reports the site All Things D. Recently they have surpassed RIM's market cap that remains at $28.5 billion. Few years ago both Nokia and RIM were way ahead of HTC and now everything has changed. HTC's current position is 30 times more than it was five years ago which is definitely a great achievement. HTC which is a leading Android phone manufacturer attracts its customers of all categories with both mid and high-end Android smart phones. Recently they have launched new Window 7 phones and Android tablet - HTC Flyer. HTC is expected to ship 200 million smartphones and 30 million tablets over next 3 to 5 years , which proves that HTC will continue to lead the mobile phone market for few years. Nokia has been losing market share mainly due to lack of high-end smartphones in it's portfolio but the company is expected  to launch new windows phones this year which is sooner than expected that may boost its chance to gain some marketshare. Samsung India plans to launch the Champ Duos E2652 in India this week at a retail price of Rs.5080. The Champ Duos is pretty much a Dual SIM version of the popular Champ feature phone. It supports social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia Arc , Play in India

At an event in New Delhi today , Sony Ericsson launched their flagship device , the Arc and the first Playstation certified phone , the Xperia Play. The Xperia Arc is arguable one of the slimmest Android smartphones in the world with a gentle curve on the back of the device. The gorgeous looking device comes with a large 4.2" display powered by the Bravia Reality Engine which is supposed to make images and videos more vivid and sharp on the display. The 8MP camera on the device runs on EXMOR R technology which makes low light images brighter. The price for the Xperia Arc has been set at Rs 32,000. LG Optimus One for AT&T leaked

Last year, LG announced the LG Optimus One, which is a great phone for people who are looking forward to a cheap Android phone. LG managed to sell a lot of units of this device. LG Optimus One is already available in USA via Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Now it looks like AT&T is also planning to launch it, as our friends over at PocketNow got their hands on the render image of AT&T Optimus One, and rumor has it that it's known as AT&T Optimus A. Samsung Galaxy S to get Gingerbread Update

Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S will get the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS update in this month. Keyboard-less webOS phone leaked, Pre 3 headed to Verizon

WebOS was announced by Palm back in January 2009, and last year it was acquired by HP. Back in February, HP officially announced several new devices which include their first ever webOS tablet Touchpad and successor to Pre 2 known as Pre 3. Now our friends over at PreCentral got their hands on the images of two new WebOS phones. First one is the Pre 3 which is a successor to Pre 2, and in the screenshot above, we can see that it's running on Verizon Wireless network. The actual phone comes with both GSM and CDMA radio, and the one in the image above is a prototype version. So what I think is that Pre 3 will be a world phone on Verizon. HP announced that they will launch this phone this summer. The second image is of a keyboard-less WebOS phone which is named as Stingray. This is actually a device WebOS folks are looking forward to from a long time. At the CES 2011, Motorola shocked the world by announcing their first ever dual-core phone which is known as the Motorola Atrix 4G. Atrix 4G is Motorola's superphone, and features like the laptop dock makes the Atrix 4G even more amazing. It's already available in USA via AT&T. Now Orange UK has officially announced the Motorola Atrix 4G and in UK it's known as Motorola Atrix. The Atrix comes with Android 2.2 Froyo ,1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 5 MP auto-focus camera, 4 Inch touchscreen display with Gorilla glass screen and qHD resolution, biometric fingerprint reader and many more features. Samsung Galaxy Pro to Launch in India this month

Samsung announced its QWERTY phone Galaxy Pro at Samsung SEA Forum in Singapore last month. Now this phone is available for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs 12,290 and the estimated release date is mentioned as 3rd week of April. This is a QWERTY bar phone that is just 10.7mm thick and runs Android v2.2 (Froyo). This also has 2.8 inch touch screen, 3MP camera with secondary camera and boasts 800 MHz processor. Other features include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and 1350 mAh battery. This phone has 512MB internal memory and comes with 2GB microSD card which is expandable up to 32GB.
