T-Mobile, USA has announced a new unlimited, Even More plan for data, calls and texts at $79.99 with two-year contract. This plan is available for new and existing customers on T-Mobile 4G Network. This plan allows the customers to use unlimited data at reduced the speeds till the next billing cycle, after they reach the limit of 2GB. They claim that on an average, T-Mobile customers consume only 1GB of data per month, which is less than the offered free data limit. This plan is said to save more than $350 per year on the unlimited plans offered by other networks. Other than the unlimited plan, T-Mobile offers entry-level plans like $10 for 200 MB per month for customers with low data consumption.There are also SMS alerts sent to the customers when they reach their data limit to prevent heavy billing without their knowledge. The $79.99 Even More plan is for single T-Mobile connection only. HSPA+ 4G network is available in select cities and streets in U.S.A.

Sprint and Samsung launches their first Eco-friendly phone - Samsung Replenish that runs on Android. This phone is made of partial recycled plastics and recyclable packaging. Sprint has already launched four eco-friendly handset already before this. This is touch phone that has QWERTY keyboard and comes with solar charging back cover. This has Sprint ID enabled, that lets the customers download eco-friendly apps and mobile content. I have been invited to a nice little event here from Nokia Austria, dubbed "Nokia Deep Dive". The whole event was made to show a handful of bloggers and developers here in Austria, the newly introduced Symbian Anna and the 2 new devices that will come with it out of the box, the Nokia E6 and X7. Starting off with the Nokia E6, i can not tell you how much i like this device. Being a long time E71/E72 fan, i always had a weak spot and was always hoping for a worthy replacement. And while some of you might disagree because of the camera, I'm fine with what i get. I'm not a fan of Nokia's recent idea of full focus cameras either, but usability still is No.1 for me. My hopes were high for a successor, that gets rid of the dusty old Symbian S60 3rd edition, and Nokia delivered. They even went on and replaced the old QVGA screens with a shiny new capacitive, multitouch touchscreen with a brand new VGA resolution. Toshiba Tablets Priced at Three Levels

Looks like Toshiba’s gearing up to launch their Android tablet as Newegg has outed prices for three different configurations – 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB offerings. Those come out to be $450, $500 and $580, respectively. And the model numbers of these devices suggest Toshiba could have settled on a name – ANT – but we can’t say for sure. (In fact, it wouldn’t be implausible for Toshiba to just go without conventional naming practices and stick with using a model number to identify it.) These things aren’t shipping yet but we hope that’ll change sooner rather than later. [via Laptoping]

MyTouch 4G May Be Getting Android 2.3 Soon

Wondering if his beloved MyTouch 4G would ever get an upgrade to Android 2.3, a reader of TmoNews‘ contacted HTC to pull the answer from deep within. The representative he spoke with initially confirmed that the device would be getting Gingerbread in Q2, but that wasn’t good enough for him – he demanded reassurance.

After asking the rep to confirm this is true, they responded back saying it came straight from HTC’s Taiwanese headquarters. Sounds pretty good to me, but you know the routine – we’ll believe it when we see it.

Samsung Now Rolling Out Galaxy S Gingerbread Update In European Countries

Samsung yet again has proven that they have no problems updating their phones, contrary to popular belief. The upgrade to Android 2.3 for the Samsung Galaxy S is now rolling out for certain European users. We’re sure this only applies to unbranded devices as carrier-branded devices will have to wait until said carriers decide to push it out. (Though European carriers seem to be much quicker with this stuff than us yanks.) This one’s only going out in Germany and Holland as far as we can tell, but we’re sure those in the UK, France, Spain, and the other tons of European countries out there won’t be left out for too long. Motorola Bravo Froyo Upgrade Now Available

Motorola and AT&T are pushing out the upgrade to Android 2.2 for all Bravo users. We’ve been expecting it after word came in of Motorola looking for 1,000 testers to “guinea pig” the new update. Instructions and a list of features can be found at Moto’s spot here.

Well isn’t this just a reassuring rumor? Supercurio – an Android developer – claims to have spoken with an inside source at Samsung who told him that the company will not use encrypted and locked bootloaders unless Google requires them to.

Samsung has always approached Android with an open mindset and I’m glad to hear that they won’t be pressured to change their ways for no good reason. HTC was the same way once upon a time, but they began locking down newer devices recently.

If this rumor is true then I’m sure Samsung will win over a lot of new customers who find themselves locked down by their current OEMs of choice. [via Android Police]

DROID Incredible 2 Specs Leak, April 28th Launch Rumor Strengthens, User Guide Appears

Lots and lots of DROID Incredible 2 stuff today. Firstly: an internal document confirms the April 28th launch date we’ve heard rumored before. Previously, we saw it in a leaked Verizon roadmap that was sent to us. Later on, another internal document backed the roadmap. And now another internal document is showing the same date. I think this one’s pretty solid, folks.

On that same document is a list of all the specs you could want to know about. According to it, it’ll have an 8 megapixel rear camera, a VGA front camera, Android 2.2 with HTC Sense, a 1GHz processor, a 4-inch WVGA display, will be a world phone and will come preinstalled with a 16GB microSD card. It’s already sounding like a worthy successor to the original.

Google Letting Users Opt-Out of Ad Targeting via Market

For those of you who find Google’s ad targeting a little on the creepy side of life, there may be light at the end of your tunnel. Google will now allow users to opt out of all that targeted advertising that comes from AdMob and Google through the Market settings.

While it’s a great gesture for those who prefer more random ads; it’s a bit odd that Google will do this and not, or at least be the last to, allow for cookie blocking in their Chrome browser. Couple it all with the fact that Google and Android make their bread and butter from advertising, and we are left with quite the mystery on our hands, Scoob.
