T-Mobile USA Unlimited Monthly plan for $79.99

T-Mobile, USA has announced a new unlimited, Even More plan for data, calls and texts at $79.99 with two-year contract. This plan is available for new and existing customers on T-Mobile 4G Network. This plan allows the customers to use unlimited data at reduced the speeds till the next billing cycle, after they reach the limit of 2GB. They claim that on an average, T-Mobile customers consume only 1GB of data per month, which is less than the offered free data limit. This plan is said to save more than $350 per year on the unlimited plans offered by other networks. Other than the unlimited plan, T-Mobile offers entry-level plans like $10 for 200 MB per month for customers with low data consumption.There are also SMS alerts sent to the customers when they reach their data limit to prevent heavy billing without their knowledge. The $79.99 Even More plan is for single T-Mobile connection only. HSPA+ 4G network is available in select cities and streets in U.S.A.

Sprint launches Samsung Replenish Eco-friendly Android Smartphone

Sprint and Samsung launches their first Eco-friendly phone - Samsung Replenish that runs on Android. This phone is made of partial recycled plastics and recyclable packaging. Sprint has already launched four eco-friendly handset already before this. This is touch phone that has QWERTY keyboard and comes with solar charging back cover. This has Sprint ID enabled, that lets the customers download eco-friendly apps and mobile content. Specs of Samsung Replenish 2.8-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 256k color QVGA touch screen Dimensions : 60.96mm x 121.92mm x 12.4mm Weight: 116g QWERTY keyboard Android 2.2 (Froyo) 2MP camera 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM 600MHz ARMv6, MSM7627-2 processor Wi-Fi and GPS Bluetooth 2.1 32GB expandable memory with MicroSD, 2GB included 1160 mAh battery This phone will be available from 8th of May 2011 from sprint for $49.99 with a two-year contract. Sprint also waives $10 monthly premium data charges for customers purchasing this phone. Another eco-friendly device Samsung Restore that was available with Sprint in 2010, will be available for Virgin Mobile customers in USA without any contract from 18 April 2011.

Nokia Deep Dive: Nokia E6 hands on pictures!

I have been invited to a nice little event here from Nokia Austria, dubbed "Nokia Deep Dive". The whole event was made to show a handful of bloggers and developers here in Austria, the newly introduced Symbian Anna and the 2 new devices that will come with it out of the box, the Nokia E6 and X7. Starting off with the Nokia E6, i can not tell you how much i like this device. Being a long time E71/E72 fan, i always had a weak spot and was always hoping for a worthy replacement. And while some of you might disagree because of the camera, I'm fine with what i get. I'm not a fan of Nokia's recent idea of full focus cameras either, but usability still is No.1 for me. My hopes were high for a successor, that gets rid of the dusty old Symbian S60 3rd edition, and Nokia delivered. They even went on and replaced the old QVGA screens with a shiny new capacitive, multitouch touchscreen with a brand new VGA resolution.
